Head’s Up

Tomorrow we will be leaving the mountain and heading back to the valley. It’s been a wonderful season and we hate to see it end.

We are looking forward to the next few months in the Valley being closer to family and friends.

There will be no internet service in the morning, so I wanted to give you a head’s up. I won’t be posting a blog tomorrow.

Keep us in your prayers for safe roads and travel.

God bless you all.

Best Gifts

Here I am on December 2 and I realize I have been remiss in thanking you and reminding you to make sure you are reading and sharing “The Best Gifts of Christmas”.

This is a book I wrote three years ago for Advent. Each day has a different gift that we have received from the Lord and I encourage you to share those gifts with your family, friends, neighbors and strangers.

We all need to be gift givers during this time! However, we can’t give if we haven’t received. That’s why I take each day to remind us of a special blessing, a gift, that we have received from the Father.

I hear from so many what it means to them to have this little book to read during Christmas.

The Best Gifts of Christmas: Receiving & Giving God’s Best: Wilson, Kristi: 9781726876575: Amazon.com: Books

If you don’t have one, they can be ordered on Amazon. Just click on the link above. It will take a few days to get to you but the daily thoughts are short, it won’t take much time to catch up to the current day.

May your Christmas season be filled with blessings!

Best Gifts of Christmas

Two years ago I had just published my first book, The Best Gifts of Christmas, Receiving and Giving God’s Best.

I just had to share with all of you some of the precious gifts that the Lord lavishes on us each and every day. I couldn’t think of a better time to bring these to your memory than during the holiday season.

I lived so many years of my Christian life not realizing that the Father wanted to overflow my life’s cup with His goodness. It’s so important to remind ourselves of the blessings God freely gives; it increases the depth of our relationship with Him.

My heart’s desire is to provide a brief teaching, each day of December, focusing on one of the Father’s many gifts and then to challenge each of us to apply what we’ve learned.

I had a woman tell me that she had read The Best Gifts of Christmas twice and was going to finish it a third time before the middle of November. She was sharing it with her granddaughter and encouraging her to use the practical application at the end of each day with her friends and classmates. That really touched my heart.

Another woman wrote that she had shared the book with her mother who was diagnosed with dementia. She said her mother could relate to day’s little devotional. It’s God’s word and His love that impact lives of all ages.

Here are some comments from others who participated in the daily reading last year.

“A great way to prepare your heart for the true meaning of the Season. Insightful and meaningful read” Lonny C.

“What I love about this book is the suggestions of Thought and Action. Anyone of any age can participate, bringing the celebration of Christmas to a whole nother level. A great way to touch lives with the Christmas spirit.” Wendy L.

“This book is very nicely done.  I gave several as Christmas presents to my friends and family.” Tom S.

“Our family loves the holiday season and last year I purchased this book to further enhance our holiday spirit. We are a family of six; from toddler to teenager and this book helped to spiritually encourage our entire household. Get those candles out and get ready for a month of tremendous gifts!!” Desiree P.

Exciting News!

I mentioned a few weeks back that I was working to develop a Spanish translation page for Kristi’s Morning Devotional. Well that day is here.

It won’t be a daily posting but I will have the format available a few times each week. If you have Spanish speaking friends they will be able to read the blog on Facebook from my page “Kristi’s Morning Devotional” or they will be able to subscribe here on the www.arizonakristi.com site and receive the post directly to their email.

I hope you will help me make this information known. I praise the Lord for the opportunity to reach Spanish speakers with the Good News of Jesus and His love.

I’m Excited!

I have such great expectation for the year before us. I’ve never lived in 2020 before and neither have you. We have so much to look forward too!

The one thing we can be certain of is our loving God and Heavenly Father knows every detail and He has designed wonderful and marvelous things for us to enjoy. Walking with the Lord is like prospecting for diamonds; the treasures are limitless.

I am so grateful for every opportunity the Lord gives me to share His word. As 2019 came to an end two new opportunities presented themselves and I feel so blessed. The first came in the opportunity to share my daily blog on the Sugar Pie Sisterhood group page. The ladies in this group enjoy homemaking – cooking, baking, decorating, a love for the old-fashioned and classic. If you are interested in these values you should check out the page – it might be just the group for you.

The second opportunity was an invitation to be the speaker at a women’s retreat in September. This particular retreat will be a mini cruise from Long Beach to Ensenada. I’ve never been on a cruise before. It will be an exciting adventure and I am looking forward to meeting new friends and seeing how God’s word will impact all our lives.

I ask you to pray for me as I continue to fine tune a new book and any other opportunities that the Lord opens for me.

If you have friends who aren’t on FB – yes, there are people who avoid it – they can receive my blog each morning via email. All you, or they, have to do is click the subscribe link on my home page and it will start within the next day or two.

Thank you for being faithful readers and prayer supporters of this outreach.

God bless you all. Happy New Year!

The Gift That Keeps On Giving

I was so blessed to read the reviews that readers have shared. If you would like to let others know your thoughts about the book I welcome you to do so. Reviews can be left by going to the bottom of the book page and adding your comment.

I pray that you all are enjoying the cooler weather of fall and experiencing the wonderful gifts of God’s love and goodness each and every day of the year.

It’s my desire that you experience God’s good and perfect gifts all throughout the year.

Thank You!

We have passed the 2 year anniversary of this blog. Can you believe it? As best I can figure I have been posting Godly encouragement to Facebook and on this blog for over 7 years.

Thank you for being a part of that journey.

Just today I found out I have been invited to speak at a church in the Phoenix area in October. I will be speaking to one of their groups and sharing about the Best Gifts of Christmas.

What a blessing!

I treasure the opportunity to share the wonderful blessings that the Lord gives us. If you live in Arizona, or surrounding states and have a group that would like to be encouraged by the blessings in God’s word contact me and I would be glad to come share.

It’s been two years since I have been posting a daily blog. That’s amazing to me!

Last year I published “The Best Gifts of Christmas”. It is a self-published book offered on Amazon. Thank you to those of you who ordered a copy.

If it blessed you I would greatly appreciate if you post a review on the book on Amazon. Thank you!

We now have a link on www.arizonakristi.com for those of you would like to order books for your Bible Study group, church bookstore or other group that will give you a 25% discount on orders of 10 or more books. I will sign the books and get them in the mail to you, if they are ordered before October 20th. After that I can’t guarantee they will arrive before December 1.

Thank you for being a part of my daily blogs. If you have been blessed by the things I share I would appreciate it if you “shared” my teachings with your friends on Facebook. You can receive the morning blogs each day by subscribing to the daily emails. A link is available on this website.

I am currently working on a second book. Hopefully it will be published by year’s end.

God bless you all. I am so blessed by your faithfulness!

Off We Go

Dave and I are headed to the mountains today for a camping vacation. I am unsure of the strength or availability of wifi so if I go silent I want you to know that it’s because I have no signal.

I am hoping there is a good strong signal but if not, know that you are in my prayers. I appreciate your prayers as we take this time away to rest and refresh.

Blessings to you all.
